Support for Veterans
The Veterans’ Dormitory serves as an Urban Retreat/Residence for veterans struggling with housing and those who need a supportive environment in the Detroit Metro area. Your $25 donation helps a veteran in need receive housing, rehabilitation for injuries sustained defending our country, therapy and meals.
A Place to Experience Art & Fitness
The Arts Warehouse is a place where people of all ages can watch artists perform their craft, join in art and fitness classes and support local artists and entrepreneurs.
A Community Park for Area Families to Enjoy
This space will provide multiple areas for outdoor art innovation including sculptures & floral gardens that will enhance pedestrian paths and bike trails connecting to a walkable community and eventually a neighboring county.

About the Village Arts Factory
The Village Arts Factory property is located just one block west of The Village Theater in the heart of Canton’s historic Cherry Hill Village District. “The Village” is also home to one of the midwest’s largest neo-traditional housing communities. The development of the Village Arts Factory will provide the community with a chance to save two nationally registered historic structures, as well as will create a regional destination that will honor history and embrace the arts all in one.
Veterans Dormitory
The Veterans’ Dormitory serves as an Urban Retreat/Residence for veterans struggling with housing and those who need a supportive environment in the Detroit Metro area. We are thrilled that The Fallen and Wounded Soldiers Fund is leasing the Veterans’ Dormitory and will offer a program to give support to veterans.
Ford Factory
It was built in 1943 to serve as a training and rehabilitation center for disabled returning WWII veterans as well as to supply parts for the Willow Run Bomber plant. We are currently seeking a tenant for this building.
Arts Warehouse
We are open! This 17,500 square foot warehouse serves as studio, gallery and retail space for visual artists. This project offers the public opportunities to take art classes, view artists at work, visit art exhibits, and purchase art.
